Mack's first REAL christmas!

Last year mackennon had is first Christmas, but it was hooked up to oxygen at st marks nicu. so this year me and Cory decided to call this his frosty Christmas! this time was right during a big growth spurt so lots of sleeping!! we woke him up at 7 to do our little family Christmas which he was NOT a fan of! ( he woke up during that time at 930 when i woke him up) but one gift he gave himself that day was his first tooth!!! i didn't even know he was teething! he was never super fussy or snotty or poopy or drooly!!! we found out when he was taking a drink from a glass cup and we heard a *Ting Ting when he bit the cup!!!! that night we had a great night with him not waking up once to even fuss or sleep crawl!! but as for Santa he did get a good amount of gifts! but he just loved the paper the most and pulling ornaments off the tree and chewing on them. me and Cory felt this was one of the best Christmas we have spent together! yes we know and think Christ is the center of Christmas BUT this year through the Dave Ramsey financial peace university we had saved and put aside a nice amount of money for Christmas and we were able to buy more then 2 gifts! i got my beloved toms shoes and LOTS of boot socks! Cory got some nice clothes and his very wanted hunting back pack and walkie talkies! this Christmas felt so complete since we had mackennon home with us and we were able to start our own family traditions! sadly i don't think we got any pictures of Christmas!! it was a very busy few days and we missed some important pictures!!!

So its time, i now have a toddler not a baby! and because i wanted him to grow up he did it all in a week! so i have learned he is very very cautious and it took him 11 months 3 weeks and 4 days before he turned 1 to start crawling! but once he got it he got it! he is very busy "crab" crawling around the house. it has been nice having him be more mobile so i can leave his sight and the world hasn't come to an end! BUT it has also been great cardio work out for me! i chase him all day and LOVE when he finally sleeps! But we have also found we have a "sleep crawler" many time we hear him fussing so we go in to check on him and he is crawling around in his crib asleep or he has sat himself up and is confused on what is going on! very very busy boy! but this year he got 2 birthday parties! because of how close his birthday is to Christmas i decided to have only family parties. The Hanson party we did on the 4. because my nephews are so busy with basketball and being 16 we combined Sunday dinner, gingerbread, and birthday all in one night! mack loved his cake once i let him know it was okay to get dirty. it took 3 days to get the blue frosting out of his nose!! then we had the tueller party on his actual birthday the 18! that night was kinda rough for him until he got ice cream and cake! still took him a minute to be okay with the dirty hands. the kid got lots of books and clothes which he has grown out of 90% of them!

Its hard to think that my little man went from 5lbs 5 oz preemie in the nicu to a tall skinny healthy boy! we also got his one year pictures taken and i will add them later!

my life needs to speed up and slow down

well since september a lot has happened that it feels like years ago that i posted but when i thnk about it not that much has really happened and time has gone slow...

Mackennon was finally able to get circumcised!! it was a rough few days but he did GREAT!!! even since then he has grow sooo much! he still can't crawl but he loves tummy time so i think we're just days away before he gets the hang of it. he does roll and pull himself to wherever he needs to be like to get his favorite book or toys. he has started to say a few words too! with his favorite book he will say "daydee" which means baby and then gives the book a kiss. he also LOVES his "daynkie" wich is balnkie! he can also say yay while clapping his hands! as for motor tricks he can roll his arms, he has to hit his mouth whenever he does it, and he can throw his arms above his head when we say "how big is mackennon? soooo big' its amazing to see how much he has grown in two months and i can't wait to see how much more he grows in two more months! his personality has started to come out more and more too. he is a funny kid and loves to make people smile and laugh. he still doesn't have any teeth but that makes for a fun bath time when he can launch a foam toy out of his mouth!

as for me i am doing a lot better i went to many dr after i passed out and my dizziness and headaches wouldn't stop. they ruled out anything in my brain and they also did an inner ear test and it wasn't a balance issue. the only thing they could think of was migraines. since then i haven't been dizzy and the headaches are starting to go away!

as for mr cory he has been working hard and being a great dad! i wish there was more to brag about him but everyday is almost the same with us. his birthday is on monday and i can't wait!! birthdays have been very big in my family and not so much in his, so i feel it is my duty to make up for all those years and i have been!

Remember, remember the 11th of September

So since i don't post much i thought i would post about 9/11 today...

It has been 10 years since i sat in my freshman history class and watched history happen.... A lot in my life has happened with many moments of not thinking about 9/11. this weekend the city of Sandy did an AMAZING! tribute to the fallen of 9/11.

In a patch of grass in downtown sandy they had put up 3031 flags for every person who lost their lives tat sad sad day. it was very overwhelming to see rows and rows of American flags

Cory and mack were reading a tag that is on every flag. the tag gave each flag a name, age, and brief story of the person it represents This is a tag on one flag. Many of these tags brought me to tears.

As part of the tribute they had a "fire ride' which was about1,000-1,500 motorcyclist riding from sandy to ogden with some fire engines in on the ride. again made me cry to see all those people coming together for thousands that they never knew...

the main part of the day was a ceremony to reveal this beautiful bronze statue which was named "hope rising" it was a wonderful statue

As it has been 10 years and many things have happened i feel i am now more mature it has hit me how horrific, sad, etc. 9/11 was. i feel so lucky to have my family all with me and safe. i am more grateful for those who risk their lives everyday to keep me and my family safe and for those who lost loved ones on that horribly sad day... I'll never forget

Good bye summer.....

So again i am horrible at updating! but all i can say is this last month+ has been the craziest ever!

of course we had many family parties and get togethers.... well since the last post mack has turned 8 months and will be 9 months next sunday!!! i swear i just had him last month and he should still be my little new born baby! BUT i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this stage of his life!! he has blossomed with such a cute character! he hasn't hit any motor skills besides sitting up, but im no worried he was a premie and will be a little delayed and i am okay with that. he has grown lots! he now weighs about 18 lbs! just think in 9 months he has gained 13 lbs! and alomst grown 1.5 feet!

well me and mack got to go to sunny california again in august! this time we were helping throw a bridal shower for miss kendall and then her bachlorette party! it was super fun! mack is an amazing travler! not only does he have ever flight attendant wrapped around his finger but he ususally just sleeps during the flight. we then came home and had a fun boating trip with my family. this was the firat time mack had ever been boating and he did okay.... he realy didn't love the life vest but quickly fell asleep on the boat. i did take him on a nice ery slow tub ride with his cousins chase and carson and his aunt nikki. he didn't think that was fun. he didn't like the water splasing his face. then came labor day weekend! last year we started the fun tradition of going to downey idaho at DownAtA hot springs camping place. My father in law Travis saves all of his extra wire all year and we kids strip it down to the copper and recycle it for money, then that money goes to all the familys and pays for everything even our gas money going up and down!! it is such a fun weekend!! last year i was 6.5 months pregnant and i still loved it! this year it was a lot more fun! so at the place we rent out the "overflow" area and have a nice grassy field usually to ourselves so we play fun games and lounge around. then they "resort" has a bi hotspring pool. when they fill up the pool everynight it comes from the srping at 107 degrees and they then add cooler water depending on how warm it will be the next day. that weekend was a little cooler so the pool was like a perfect abth tub temp. mackennon LOVES LOVES LOVES water and when it was warm and he didn't get cold he was in heaven! they alos have fun adult slides that i got to go down this year and that was fun. one of the days we were there we went into pcatello to get some amazing mexican food that me and cory crave all year round. this time w brought all 21 of us into the tiny restaruant and took over the place. the owner came in to help with our big group. since getting home we have been getting everything ready for his sad little circumscision that he will FINALLY be getting this tuesday.

( for you who don't know, no we did not circumscise him when he was born because he was in the nicu, then since he came home on oxygen his peditrician wanted all of his enegery to go into getting off of oxygen and thought that the procedure would only set him back... plus he said if we waited until he was 6 months old they could put him under so he didn't feel anything and we would know if he was healthy enough to have surgery. yes since we have to go to a pediatric urologist it took us 3 months to get mack in!)

As for me since our fun cali trip i have been (again) having stupid medical problems. when i came home i got very very dizzy and losing my hair like i just had a baby. so i thought i was anemic adn started taking iron pills. well a week into that i passedout in my bathroom and decided to finally go to the dr. they took about half of my blood and did tons of tests. well everything came back "normal".... so now i am still dizzy, started getting headaches, losing my memory, and extremely fatigued.. so i get to go visit a nuerologist next week!! i am scared but trying to keep busy so i don't think about it all day long!

Mr cory is still plugging away at work and cant wait until october to finally have is vacations!

Wow we have been busy!!

Well i thought it had only been like a week or two since my last post.. no try three!!! so again i will have lots of pictures and what not.

well mack got to celebrate his first 4th of July! and i think he liked it!! we spent Sunday night at Cory's grandparents house in our tents in their back yard. i was scared mack would be too hot or too cold or not sleep and keep everyone up. well not at all.. he slept like a champ and a few cousins woke up before he did!!! we then got ready for the day and went to the annual Murray parade! he did sleep through about 20 min of it but he didn't miss much! then that night we all hangout in the grandparents front yard and watch the Murray park fireworks! but mack slept through it all, even the loud booms!

mack has also turned 7 months old. my little baby has grown up so fast!! makes me sad but i LOVE LOVE LOVE this stage of his life. he has learned how to sit up all by himself, and plays with toys all the time. it gives me a nice break to do the dishes or clean up around him. I'm finding that cleaning up only happens at night and by noon the next day the house looks like i didn't touch it! oh well! mack has also started to reach for people and act "shy"... that part i love cause he snuggles into me!

well the 24 of July came and went this last weekend. and for any of you non utardians that means nothing!!! but here in the land of "Zion" it is the celebration of the year! its the most random state holiday that everyone takes so seriously. every year i am grateful to have a reason to take work off and to hang out with family and friends and see more fireworks but i giggle at the fact we are celebrating the pioneers coming to Utah and settling the state of Utah. growing up we never had Idaho day.. i don't even think we learned when Idaho became a state!!!

well this year pioneer day was on Sunday and being a Mormon holiday it was celebrated on Saturday and Monday! so Saturday we did what we did last year and will do from years to come, we went to a salt lake bee's baseball game with our friends and their little girl and new little guy. after the game they have AMAZING fireworks that are better then the 4th. kinda sad but worth watching! we were scared mack wold scream and hate them, but of course he is like his dad and watched them with the biggest eyes. it was also 1130 at night wayyyy past his bed time. but of course he HATES when people cheer. he cried during the whole game but loved the loudest part of the night. then Sunday we went to grandma moss house to celebrate all the July birthdays. then Monday Cory had to work, (hp does not see pioneer day as important) so my sister Nikki, kayleen, melissa and i plus all the kids went on that same hike to the pretty waterfall. the youngest was 3 and they did great on the hike, then after we found some random school and had a picnic. that night we decided to go to the days of 47 rodeo.... BAD BAD BAD idea!!! Mack thought it was too loud and too much cheering. he screamed the whole time and we left early. the minute we got to our car he was all smiles.. naughty!

As for me and Cory nothing too new. Cory's company he works for was bought out by hp and he became an official hp employee. with that we got a nice new laptop and a tiny tiny raise!!!! but with all the meetings and signing up for new benefits and 401k he has gotten a good amount of overtime! yay for us! well here are some pictures and video since our last post!

So this post is going to have lots of pictures and a video!! i finally got most of our pics up on the computer and off our phones!! this last week and a few days has been busy! last Saturday Cory took me and Mack on a fun little hike ! once we made it to the top we found an amazing waterfall and we took family pictures! then on Tuesday Mack went to his six month appointment! the little guy isn't so little! he now weighs 15.8 lbs!!!! he's also 27 inches long! from his 4 month to his 6 month his weight went from the 9% to the 25%!!!! and his length went from the 25% to the 75%!!! putting him on rice and baby food has sure made the difference! now for the pictures!!!

Not really Tueller Tuesday...

Well i found time in my crazy schedule so i thought i would post something! i know its not Tuesday but Thursday is close enough!!! Sorry Nicole for taking your day!
Well since last week and deleting my facebook i have found i am more bored then usual, so to make up on time i have decided to start making my own baby food..... I NEED HELP!!! i made some peas because those are macks favorite but the poor kid can't handle my homemade peas. his tummy does great with the Gerber ones but not my peas. he still is a happy baby and doesn't seem in pain he just spits up a lot more! so we moved back to pears and i bought some more Gerber food until i can figure out this whole making food bit! this last week mack turned 6 months!! he has also started to sit up more and more on his own. he even thinks during a diaper change is the best time to sit up.... if any of you are on facebook and "like" the Gerber page i have signed mack up for there photo contest!!! his # is 68294.voting doesn't start until July 5!! so mark your calenders!! as for me i have just been staying busy with mack and going to work my 2 days a week! nothing too new or exciting has happened. i might be starting to go to a zumba class!!! we'll see with my schedule!

Cory has had a big change! HE'S DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!! well not forever but for a little while!!! and i love having him home on Tuesdays and Thursdays now! those days always feel like a Friday now! he also had his first fathers day! but of course i got him sick so he spent a lot of his fathers day in bed resting or at the doctors making sure he didn't have strep! poor guy! but that night we went to his grandparents house with the WHOLE family and opened gifts there! not to boast but i did get him the best gift there!!! since we registered for our wedding he has talked about this toaster that makes an egg mcmuffin! so after 4 years i FINALLY remembered and i got it for him!so far i have used it everyday and love it!!! he has used it once....as cheesy as it sounds it is the best appliance i have ever purchased!!! love it!!!

we are so grateful to be a family and to have been able to spend fathers day together!! check in next week for more updates!! (should be on Tuesday!!)

so as some of you know I did decide to delete my facebook account. it was starting to take over my life... i couldn't go more then an hour without checking it or doing something on it. it also started to hurt me and Cory. instead of being with him talking to him or anything i was on fb. i was not healthy at all... so after swallowing my pride i did it! i am social network free!!!!still feels a little strange but maybe 'll put more time into my blog and keeping everyone updated this way! now if you really want to keep in touch and you don't have my phone number PLEASE add Cory as a friend on facebook! we might make it a family facebook account.

Rollin' on the river

This week has been so full of things to talk about, but knowing me I know I will forget most of them!
Mack: This kid is getting very big. today he had a weight check at the Dr's to see how well he is doing on his new formula. well hes 10 pounds .5 oz!!! My dad said he was a good for nothing until he hit 10 pounds and he did it! the Dr was very impressed and happy with his progress. another HUGE thing mack did this week was roll from his belly to his back! on Friday night Cory thought it would be a good thing to put him on his belly to see how well he does just hanging out and within 30 sec mack rolled over so Cory thought it was a fluke and put him back on his belly, well the kid rolled over again and i got to see it. so of course just to make sure it was legit we had him do it a third time! that time we got in on Cory's phone. then on Saturday i thought i would see if he would do it again and sure enough he did it again that day 3 times!!! here's a video that i have of him rolling over!

Steph: with all of mackennons achievements it has kept me happy during some hard times. this last week i went to my obgyn and had them look at my breasts. well they then sent me to a breast surgeon... yeah not the news i wanted. well i went and met with her yesterday and i now get to go have an ultrasound on Thursday morning. Depending on what they see in the ultrasound means if i have surgery or not. because i still will have more kids she didn't want to go in and preform surgery and me not be able to nurse unless i for surely 100% have a papiloma. she said that with future kids this problem could happen again and its my decision to nurse them or not. she said it would be wise to nurse them but if i bleed again i would need to stop just like this last time. so there is a part of me that really wants the surgery so i can nurse with out any problems with my next child but again surgery is surgery and its not fun especially with a baby.

if i do have to have surgery what will happen is i get an ultrasound and they numb the area and hook a wire into the tissue mass. then i go into surgery and they put me to sleep were the surgeon goes in and makes an incision and then pulls out the milk duct and tissue with the wire. it sounds really nasty but she said it wasn't too bad and that after time to let things heal i will be able to nurse again!

Cory: I feel bad this kid hasn't had too much going on besides taking care of emotional me and cute mack! it is starting to become testing season for firefighting and he will be starting school next month so hopefully he'll have some more exciting things to share!

I hope everyone feels up to date!! again this next week should be full of answers (hopefully) and potential stress or relief!

This last week has gone by so fast! I almost forgot to post today because I couldn't believe it was Tuesday already!
Mackennon: This last week has been a little crazy! Because of some bleeding issues (which I will address later) we got to go for a weight check at the Dr's office. He weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces! He's getting so big! BUT not big enough. He had only gained about 3 oz in two weeks and his Dr was not happy with that! So he got put on nutramigen... yes the $21 formula! I guess I must have stated how bad I didn't want my baby on formula too much because he is and its the most expensive out there. Luckily he has an AMAZING pediatrician and he gave me 3 sample containers and when we go back for another weight check next Tuesday he said he would give me more! He's such a great Dr. Then Mack went on his first road trip to Pocatello Idaho!! and he did GREAT! The poor thing was in his car seat for most of Saturday but you wouldn't have known. Then on Sunday we made the forever long back roads drive to a tiny tiny tiny town called Arbon Valley! His little (well bigger then him but younger) friend Hal was being blessed! It was so fun to see Shancy and Kade, also their crazy 2 yr old Zane, who kept telling me and Cory to stop touching "his Hal!"

Steph and Cory: well for poor Cory nothing too exciting has happened besides work and scouts, but of course as for me more and more is happening. Since the last post we thought I was having nursing problems from my nipples. well I went on every yeast treatment I could get on. nystatin, gentiviolet, hydrocortozone, and neosporin! I thought it was working until Wednesday morning, mack slept through the night and woke up at 730. So I nursed him and it started to hurt a little, it had hurt worse before with no blood, so I thought nothing of it. As I was changing his diaper and clothes that's when I realized he had only drank blood and no milk. The poor kid kept spiting up clots through his cute smiles! At that moment I stopped nursing and he went on a bottle that day. Finally at 330 I decided to pump. Well it was only to have blood coming out of my milk ducts! Needless to say I'm going to the Dr tomorrow to get things checked out. From the few people I have spoken with they think I have intraductal papilomas. Basically is a benign tumor inside my milk ducts. They do have to be surgically removed but they aren't life threatening. I am scared because of course it could be worse, and in my family we're never "normal", but we wont know until I get an ultrasound done. So now I am 100% done nursing which makes me very very sad. I loved that bonding with Mack and I know he will miss it too. But I have to look at the bright side and now feeding time can happen ANYWHERE! I can eat dairy and eggs again. I can also have PEPSI!!! It gives Cory and my mooter in law and mom some special bonding time with him when we go visit! It also means I don't have to occupy a massage room at work to pump! It also means I will finally (hopefully) get my bald fat baby!! As the week goes on I will learn more and more about whats going on with my body and future nursing.. so check in next week to see what else my body wants to do to me!!

tueller tuesdays!

so my friend has a blog and she does thurgood Thursdays and i thought i should totally steal her idea and update every Tuesday!! so thank you Nicole for your awesome idea that i am now stealing!!

Mack: This week was a crazy busy week for mack. it was also a little tough on him. (THIS PART MIGHT BE TMI FOR SOME OF YOU). i had decided to take away my nipple shield and try the good old fashion nursing.... well needless to say mack got strawberry and cherry milk. yes it had lots of blood. so my poor little guy was spiting up blood with a smile on his face. i was able to go to a lactation specialist on Tuesday and she helped a lot but the bleeding and pain kept coming. by Saturday my poor baby was spiting up blood clots. at that moment i stopped nursing and we went to a formula bottle. it wasn't until Monday afternoon i tried nursing again and it was a blood free pain free crying event!!
the other huge event in macks life was his blessing. it was a packed house. our ward had 2 baby blessings and a mission far well. there were people to the stage! Cory did an amazing job on macks blessing and yes i cried! it was so touching to see 18+ men circling my baby! it was a tight circle and kinda miss shaped but we got everyone in!
Steph- this week was rough on me for the same reasons as mack. on that Tuesday he also got his shots.... but he did great!
that Friday the whole tueller family got to go to desert star! it was a fun break from a crazy day. first off mack had a rough night so i had a rough night. i was then woken up to a phone call from my dad that my mom was in a car accident and was in the hospital. shes okay just has a really banged up right side and hurt wrist and pinkie finger. she was also my babysitter for that night so i got to call around to find someone. luckily my nephew was done with basketball and my sister took him for the night. we ended up staying over there after the play till almost one! we love their family!
Cory- his week consists of lots of work and scouts. he was supposed to go on a camp out this last weekend but because of macks blessing he stayed home to help me get ready for the shindig. we also got to go hang out with some friends from Idaho and spend time with their 2 sons. they also just had a little boy who is 5 weeks younger then mack and hes two times the size!! it was fun to see them.

So since my last post Mackennon has come home! we brought him home on oxygen and a pulse-ox monitor. We have come to HATE the monitor. it beeps at any movement mack makes. its really annoying in the middle of the night when it is going off because the sensor isn't reading! As of this last week, we have taken Mack off of the oxygen during the day. He is still sating at 98-100!! Tonight is our first night that we will be trying no oxygen!! I have a feeling his monitor will be keeping us up more then him!

We are also able to finally breastfeed 100% when he came home we had to bottle feed because we had to add extra calories to my breast milk to pork him up. when he gained a pound since birth in 2 weeks and then went from 6.6 to 7 lbs in one week, his Dr gave him the okay to breastfeed 100%. This hasn't been the easiest thing we've ever done!! He really hates how hard he has to work to get his food now. So there are sometimes that we give him a bottle to make sure hes eating enough. it also gives Cory some bonding time during a feeding!

So far the sleepless nights haven't been too bad and i a able to nap with him! i am going back to work on Feb 2 and I'm excited and nervous! i know Cory will do great with him at night but I'm scared to leave him. i don't think I'll cry thankfully! i also have to thank my mom and mother in law who are going to watch him for a few hrs while me and Cory are at work. they are saving us big money to not have to put him in day care!!! plus they are saving him form getting sick at day care!

I am so grateful to be a mom and have the opportunity to stay home with him most of the time. it is also nice to know i don't' HAVE to work. it will just be a nice added paycheck and some grown up time for me! plus i love my clients and couldn't' leave some of them high and dry!!

On Saturday DEC 18 2010, Mr Mackennon decided it was time to join our little family!

Labor went very fast and very easy. it truly started the night before but i thought it was just false labor and went to bed. the next day i had to get a non stress test in the labor and delivery area. I was very upset that day because i was sick of my strict left side bed rest and i knew that they were going to just send me home. So when i went in i wasn't the nicest patient!! as they were monitoring me and mack the nurse kept asking me about my contractions. i told her they were braxton hicks and i was only having them one every 10-15 min. well i guess on the monitor i was having them every 5-7. so after being sent home ( like i knew they would) Cory let me stay out a little later then i was supposed to and took me to get my favorite lunch at five guys! we got home at 12:30. by 1:15 i started to feel my contractions more but thought it was just cause of the greasy burger i ate. by 1:45 i was calling my mom to tell her to come over because my contractions were 1.5 min apart and i was getting in the bath to see if that helped. 20 min later my contractions had become more intense. My mom got there about the same time and after getting me out of the tub decided it was time to go to the hospital. When i got to the hospital i was dilated to a 4 and my contractions were 1 min apart. at that point the Dr on call had spoken to my Dr and wanted me to get an epidural because my blood pressure was too high. when i got my epidural i was at a 6 and was thankful! i was sad i didn't go all natural but i needed to do what was best for me and my baby. i then waited another maybe 3 hours and it was time to push!!

the Dr wasn't in the room yet but the nurse wanted me to "practice" push to make sure i knew what i was doing. well needless to say 11 min later with a frantic Dr running and barley getting gloves on mackennon was here! no one knew how well i could push, not even me!

because he was delivered so fast the cord was around his neck and was too tight. the Dr had to cut the cord while on his neck. the poor little guy wasn't breathing but he had angles that night, his nurse knew what to do and fast! after some resesitation she got him breathing in about 2 min. He weighed 5 lbs 6 oz and was 18 in long!!

because of his traumatic birth mackennon is currently in the nicu. He has been a champ. in less then 24 hours he was on and then taken off oxygen, he slowed his rapid breathing down and was able to breast feed and within 48 hours he was off iv fluids and was eating like a champ. he does/did have a little infection so he is still on antibiotics and because of he wasn't able to get the cord blood he has become jaundice. hes on lights right now but is doing great!!! he has already started gaining weight and is just as good as ever. technically his 7 day antibiotics are up at 3:11 am on Sunday BUT they MIGHT let him come home on Christmas depending on how nice his neonatoligist is!

we couldn't be happier for our new addition and his amazing progress! for anyone who knew before and kept him and us in your prayers, THANK YOU!!! i know that those prayers are why he is doing so great!

So I didn't realize how long it had been since my last post! well as you can tell from the previous post we are having a little boy! which seems to be the only things the tuellers can have and my parents are glad to add their 10th grandson to the mix! well I finally stopped the morning sickness at about 23-28 weeks I cant remember now! I also found out that eating eggs was a BAD BAD idea! with in 2-3 bites I become violently ill... so i have missed my morning goodness and the random IHOP days with grandma!

Speaking of grandma, she had another nasty fall this summer and now me and Cory live in her basement that she made into a beautiful apartment for us! she has let us paint whatever we want and make it more of a home then an apartment. we were scared of the "east side" ward up here but we now are scared of the day we might have to move away from the ward! It is still hard for me to be a fellow member of a ward with Richard G Scott! but when we spoke in church on Halloween he was super nice and introduced himself to us! still think he can see into my soul and knows all my wrong doings but he now is becoming more of an everyday man to me... kinda! He is an amazing addition to our ward though! We also have Cory's brothers mission president in our ward! that's been fun having a little connection with them! our ward is also very very excited for mackennon to join the ward. there aren't too many kids in our primary or nursery so anyone new under the age of 55 is a little celebrity! so moving in with a baby on the way has made it fun for us! i already have so many relief society women wanting to be the first to help me when hes born! I just tell them they can fight over that role amongst themselves!

Me and Cory also took the Dave Ramsey financial peace university classes that started in September. We graduate this Saturday and are loving the classes! It took us a while to start practicing what we were taught but since we have our lives have been less stress full even with the layoff! if you have to chance to take theses classes in your area DO IT!!! they are not get rich classes but how to get out of debt and stay out of debt! usually are sponsored or happen at a local church and you can go to the Dave Ramsey website to find a class by you!

Well for newest news, today at work i was with a client and was cutting her hair when i thought my water broke! so i called my mom and the Dr. they both thought it would be the best to go check into labor and delivery. my contractions started about every 20 min apart. by the time i got to the hospital and checked in i was contracting every 10 min. they then did a swab test to see if my water truly broke and then checked to see if i was dilating. well from the day before at the Dr's i dilated to a 1.5 and was now 80% effaced. I reallllllly thought I was going to be staying and having a baby! but in my excitement my contractions stopped and the test came back negative.... so i was sent home! Which is good because i am only 36 weeks and he does need more cooking time!

So I kind of fell back into my old routine of not blogging but it wasn't because I didn't want to! Our computer broke and we had to get a new one which wasn't too high on our priority list!! But now we have a working one and I'm back!

I'm now 36 weeks pregnant and done!! I know I could have up to 4 weeks left but between the holidays and preclampsia my Dr doesn't think I'm going over! Mackennon is cooking great hes an active little guy! His new favorite thing is to wedge his back to the furtherest right he can and then out of my discomfort I try rubbing him to the left, well he really likes when I do that and its like a little back rub for him! He is soooo much like me and loving back rubs! Now whenever he does it I just put lotion on and rub his back through my tummy. He also gets the hiccups whenever I eat, but not breakfast just lunch and dinner! Its cute for the first minute then after 5 I feel bad for him!! As of today I am dilated to a 1 and 60% effaced!! Which is nice to know I'm starting all on my own.

As for me and Cory we are doing great. Because of other health issues I was put on a work restriction and cut my hours. Cory then took it upon himself to get a part time job at the air port working for a company called Million Air. I'm so glad that he loves it too!! He is at work for 430 am to 730 am wed-sun. Whenever you fly and you see those guys outside running around with bags and hoses... well that's what he does! This part time job came in handy too when he was laid off from his full time electrical job about a week before thanksgiving.

Since then, through a client of mine he was able to get an AMAZING job at Printelligent! It has been a blessing beyond blessings! we truly feel the lord was there the whole way through and his hand was in a lot of it. What he now will be doing is servicing (fixing, replacing,etc.) printers that were sold through Printelligent. Lucky the company is only growing and this is going to be a very stable job!

With the little time off Cory had we were able to get Mackennons room and everything ready for his arrival! I was going to post pictures of his room and I went to vacuum and then take pictures when I broke his closet and pulled everything out of the wall!!! ON ACCIDENT!!! so as of right now his room is back to being under construction till this weekend! So pictures will be coming shortly!

During this season we have been more grateful then we ever thought we could be. Between amazing friends and family and of course the lord! We thank everyone who prayed for us or did anything they could to help us out!! You truly are amazing people and I know your efforts will not go unnoticed or blessed!!!

So I have now updated twice in one month!! Im so proud of myself! Next step pictures!

Well since last post i am now 15 weeks along and having "issues". i went to my dr and told her of what i was experiencing since my last visit. well i must have said the magical word! becasue i got to pee for them 2 times and i get to visit her every 2 weeks not 4!! What is going on is that my kidneys have decided to hurt me. I guess it runs in the family and is pretty serious! the only nice thing is that the baby is doing great and its just me who isn't. My dr also said it was most likely the reason for the intense and often proclein god praying sessions!! they gave me some magical pill called zofron and i LOVE it!! at my next appoinmet we are going to schedule my ultra sound to find out what we're having! so im hoping only like 3 weeks. and i did feel the baby move the other day and it scared me to death! if any of you know me i WiLL not touch a pregnant ladies belly or want to feel the baby kick! so to have no control over the feeling of it kinda isn't settling well with me!

As of our other life we have been very busy. Corys little brother got married and that was a party. the family is now in texas this weekend for her reception aka 2 day long fiesta! sad to miss it but not sad to miss the heat there! we also got hanson family pictures taken! i felt bad for our photographer kim who had to deal with 22 people and 13 of them being kids! she did great though! the pictures turned out wonderful! here are some of the pictures of just me and cory. i look fat but i promise im pregnant!!!

Well as I have been told by some creepy stalkers ( you know who you are) I am finally giving this thing an update!
So here's the big news since last time.....I'M PREGNANT!!!!! i am 13 weeks along and not loving it yet! this nugget has decided it is best for me to be bulimic. I only throw up after a good meal! I get so mad, waste of good food and money! I thought i learned all the tricks to stopping that but this baby likes to be in control and let me know whos boss!
back in june i had my first dr. appoinment and was able to hear the heart beat, but not till we had to find it through and ultrasound. my dr said i have a very tilted uterus and that it will be difficult to find the babies heart beat and what not. that also means i will start showing later then most and feel the baby later... :( but if in the end i dont have stretch marks it will be worth it!
Another fun this that has happened is that me and cory moved AGAIN!!! this time we don't have a lease so we should stay for a while! oh and Free rent also helps! No we did not move in with any parents. My dear grandma keeps falling and having medical problems so the family built us a BEAUTIFUL basement apartment and in exchange we help her when she needs it or pick her up if she falls down!they gave us Granite counter tops and all! we were also allowed to paint and do what we would like. so when we find out the gender of our small one we will paint its room too!
This summer has started late and is going by way to fast. we have already taken our big trip for the year! we went to Lake Powell for a week with the WHOLE tueller family! that was a fun get away and this year i didn't get any injuries becasue i couldn't do anything!
Since it is the first week of july this month is going to go fast. first its the 4th of july weekend wich means camping in backyards and lots and lots of family. it is also when my brother in laws fiance is going through the temple! then next friday they are getting married! and when all that is said and done july will be half over!
secretly im very excited for summer to be almost over becasue then i will be about 20 weeks and we can find our the gender of our baby!! well i will try to post pictures but im not very good at it nor do i have many pictures!

SO!! Its has been a while since I have had time to sit down and update! A lot has happened since October or whenever my last blog was! Since October not too much has happened with me but lots have happened with Cory!
But first I will go back to October 5 and work my way to march!
after Cory's elk hunt and little killed there we started the unpacking and cleaning. We love our new place and all the friends we have made there. nothing too special happened in October. in November we are able to celebrate Cory's birdday!!! this year he turned 25 and i thought that that was a good mile stone so i magically got all his friends together for a surprise birthday dinner! i was so proud of myself for being able to keep that a secret. i am horrible at staying quite! but i did it and even made a cake without him knowing! we then had thanksgiving! this year it was at my parents house for dinner and then in laws for dessert. dinner was entertaining because my 102 yr old grandma was there and was so confused! every five min she would loudly say" your cute....how are we related?" then for the next 3-5 min we would have to explain ourselves to her! she is a hoot to be around. for her age she is still very funny and has a good attitude. then came on the holidays! not too much happened at the beginning of December minus Cory starting school! Cory was able to start at the west valley fire academy December 4. that first month was a prereq class and was hard. that was the first time in that schools history that they had that class so i was defiantly a trial and error time! then Christmas came! two days before (dec 23) my dad went in for another heart procedure. we all mentally got ready to hear he had to have another bi pass! but it turned out to be a Christmas miracle and he only had to have stints put in! he felt so much better on Christmas eve that our family tradition of Chinese food and a movie still happened! then Christmas morning came and me and Cory had our own little Christmas before the family time started! we then spent the morning with Cory's family and then the afternoon evening with mine. we got spoiled this year.... it pays not to have kids yet! that night my dad was doing sooo much better he took us all out to See avatar in 3d. it was a great movie and a good ending to Christmas! then came our anniversary! both me and Cory had to work on the 29 so we celebrated it on the 30. i had just recently gotten over a nasty cold but i was determined to go snowboarding at snow bird that day anyways! the ride was amazing! it was snowing like crazy all day and i don't know how many times i got stuck in some deep deep powder! that night we decided chuck o rama seemed romantic enough for dinner! the whole time i was eating i could never warm up and my body started to hurt extremely bad! that night i jumped in the bath and still couldn't warm up and my aches got worse and worse. so finally i got on sweats and added 5 more blankets to bed..... needless to say i ended our anniversary with a fever of 101 and miserable! the next day i went to the doc in the box because swine flu was going around the salon. the guy was soooooo dumb. they tested me for swine flu and said the results would be back in 10. 7 min after testing i was diagnosed and out the door for a sinus infection..... only later talking to my nurse friends did i find out that only the state can test and it takes 24-48 hours before they can diagnose you. so i then rang in the new year passed out on my brother in laws bed with another fever of 101. my poor husband! then came January and Cory started the actual fire science school! i think i was more nervous and giddy then he was for his first day of school! the only other big thing to happen in January is that we have decided to start trying to have a baby!!! February came in went just as fast as the last months! Cory was doing really well in school! he was named company captain in his class and has been kinda like a teachers pet. he is the first to jump out of a window head first onto a ladder( didn't tell me about this till after he did it!) and the first to repel out of a window with only a rope!! he also has been moved around to other companies to help get them on track! his teachers love him and we're hoping he will get asked to come back as a intern next semester! and now for the first of march!!!! this is when i have fun news! as i was talking to another manger at work and i was offered a job at the new Aveda Institute in Provo!!!! i will be ( as they call me) the retail guru! i will be in charge of helping clients and students with all their product needs and i will be in charge of helping the students know what to use and "purescribe" to their clients! i am so ecstatic about the new job! i will still be doing hair and this new job! so this is our lives up to date to the best of my knowledge! i am making it a goal to try to post more often and with more pictures!!

So i know i offically suck at the blog thing. I have decided i am like 5 years behind on anything internet. i just learned how to KINDA work facebook and i have it since my freshamn year of college!
Sice georgia a lot has happend.
In june i was blessed to find out my crazy mouth(for those who know my teeth battle) had made an osteoma. in real word terms i had a bone spur on my upper jaw that was erupting above one of my second front teeth. my mom put bets on a third tooth but was very wrong. i went to the dentist on a tuesday and was in surgery that friday! I was so heavly sedated that i guess after my surgery i asked cory to take me to work so i could give them a doctors note. the very next moring i woke up at about 730 asking cory again to take to me to work (which was a resturant) right then and there so i could appoligize for not showing up for my shift the night before. he then had to explain that i already went and spent about 20 min talking and showing EVERYONE what had happend. i also then foundout a fwe days later that while i was left in the car alone i took pretty pictures of my mouth and swollen face and sent it to my friends! Im so sorry if you recieved that random picture from me.
Then on July 18 i finally graduated from school! it was the best day ever! i then started work at Sanctuary day spa and salon - south towne about a week later. The hardest part was taking my practical state exams. it was supposed to be me and another girl but she never showed up. so i had two examiners matching my every move. i have never doubted myslef like i did that say. needless to say i passed that exam and my written!
August came and went very fast. My best friend since i was born moved down the street from me and had her baby!! it was the best. it has been so nice to be able to reconnect with her and her family.
September also went by very fast. at the salon we did a hair show where i started out one of the stylist and then ended up a model! we had two shows at the what women want expo on friday and saturday. it was a fun show and my manager mandi did a great job for it being her first. then my sister in law, stephanie, had her second baby! bridger. he is the cuttest peanut i have ever seen!! when i see him i just hold him for hours and pray he falls asleep on me!
then comes october! we just moved into a new place and im still unpacking. we moved on tuesday adn cory left for elk hunting in thursday! so needless to say i haven't been home or cleared too many boxes. I also started my own business. It's called Bloomin' Hair. i make headband and hair clips for babies to adults with unique flowers! im really excited about it and i already have potential clients in south korea! thanks to my sister! i should have a website up and runing in the next few weeks.
that brings me up to date!!!

Georgia

So as a lot of friends know i was able to spend 8 days in Georgia and Florida with my sister and Mom. My sisters husband is diployed to Korea right now so we came down to hang out with her and help her with her kids. Her step son Sean was even able to fly from Boise to Georgia with me and my mom. The day after we all got her that evening we set out to drive to Orlando to go to Disney World and Sea World. That night we decided it was safer to stop in Tybee beach for the night then try to get to Orlando the next day. The next day we spent the first half playing on the beach. That afternoon we tried to get to Orlando again. It took us another 8 hours!!! Between car problems and three little kids we finally got there!!! That night I was also bitten by fire ants from my feet all the way to my upper thigh!! I was NOT a happy camper at all. I guess while I was sleeping I kept twitching and saying ow ow. The next morning we all got up and went to Sea World. That was more fun then I thought!! The kids loved looking at all the animals and touching sing rays and feeding the sharks. I took Sean on the Atlantis ride which was a wet one and we got soaked!!!! He told me many times that day that he hated that ride. The next day we all woke up and went to DISNEY WORLD!!!! Both of the kids were super excited!!! We all got there and went first to fantasy land and wen on the snow white ride. We then went on the carasoul and then dumbo!! Finally we went to adventre land and frontire land, there we did pirates of the carribean, robinson family tree house, jungle advebture, and run away train!! The little ones had more fun in toon town on the play grounds and water fun. Then me and my sister took sean on space mountain which scared to crap out of him in line then when we got off he wanted to do it again. That night we got home late and where too tired too swim. The next morning we left and drove 6 hours home. Then we spent to next two days at home and doing my sisiers hair. the trip was a blast and I got to see the "dirty south" from moss trees to swamps to tornados and bad bad bad thunder storms!!!

So since the last post I have found I am a horrible wife! On Dec 29 it was our first anniversary! Good One to forget right?!? Well that day we went snowboarding up at Snow Bird. It has become our tradtion. We went boarding for our honeymoon at Snow Basin. Since then not too much has happened. We have finally stopped un packing and stuck the rest of the boxes in our basement. We also FINALLY found our ward. After many Wrong stakes, wards, and times we found it! Cory is still trying out for many cities for firefighting and Im just going to school. We both can't wait for spring to come and bring us new beginnings.

Long Time

So I haven't updated for a while! Sorry about that! Since Dec A LOT has happened. one big one was christmas! that was a fun time!! we drove over 150 miles just with in the salt lake valley!! now that shows we love our families! The tuellers got a call from jeremy and that took most of the day to get EVERYONE to talk to him. I actually talked to him more then just 30 sec like last year! he is up in minnasota and is starting to sound like it! though i don't really know what he sounded like before seeing is how we have yet to meet!! then New Years came and went.. we where supposed to go to family then friends then family again and we got stuck at my sisters house playing rock band!! some of my nephews sure sang beautifuly!! NOT but they tried. my mom even got in there and tried to play!
As of the 10 of Jan we now live in Herriman! we moved into a nice bigger home! We love it! the only bad thing is we can be in different rooms and we have to get up to talk to one another! today we unpacked one of the last boxes! it felt great!
Yesterday I finished ANOTHER hair competition! I find out if im going to Long Beach CA on the 23 or 26 i don't remeber. If i place top 10 then i get to go. when i have a chance i REALLY want to put up the before and afters!

No we're not trying for a baby, I'm trying to remember to update!!

Well Thanksgiving came and went in a hurry! Of course we were busy with lots of family! My sister Corinn came into town from Idaho. That night as a graduation gift to her I cut and colored her hair and got her some great shampoo and conditioner! I took off about 5 inches worth of hair! That was a lot of fun for me and very brave of Corinn!

As always we did our tradtional gingerbread houses on the saturday after Thanksgiving! We had most of all the grandkids and siblings! It was so much fun! The nephews of course used every candy in their trays and about 3x the amount of frosting as the rest of us! (pics will be coming soon)

Cory is done with school this Saturday!!! On Monday he passed his written exam and he is currently taking his practical exam tonight! His instructors are trying to get the students state certified before Jan. Cory is also really excited to maybe be a part time paramedic EMT. On his ride along he loved it and got to talking to the people about jobs! They all said to apply soon and they would love him on the team!

As for my schooling it's still coming! I'm at about 1200 hours! Only 800 to go! Nothing too knew has happened for me. Which is kinda nice to have a break and just take app.

So now that I have a minute to breath I thought and was told to update my blog! So since halloween my hair show happened! Im so glad it is over! I didnt place but I did make it to the final round! I got to meet some great stylist from Utah, New York, LA, and London! Some where pretty scary! I aslo had a metting with the top dog at nuts and bolts! Jim is from Scottland and sounds just like fat bastard from austin powers! Not only am I on student council at my school I am now in charge of my own task force, I am on conferance calls every month, and I have to sell sell sell sell sell product!! oh and I have to know our schools service menu left and right and get 100% on a test! AND the last thing he wants me to do this month is to participate in the Vidal Sassoon hair show!!! I think the man sees double! I have no idea how this is all going to work out but Im sure going to try!

After the show I wanted a laid back day at school and so Ricky decided I needed PC ( permanant cosmetics)!! So I got my eye liner done! Wow oh wow does it hurt! During the tattooing it wasn't bad I was really really numb but once that wore off, my eyes where soo swollen and red!! Today is day number 2 and they are still swollen but not as bad! Im already starting to peel a little! The only thing I hate is that it looks like I have been crying for a few days and people keep asking if im okay!

As for Cory! He gets to start ride alongs with his school and he is like a kid on thier first day of school he just cannot wait! He only has 4 more weeks of school left until he can get a job doing emt stuff!!! He aslo is starting to get intrest cards form different cities and counties for fire fighting! So far it looks like most of the try outs are in the spring!

Just to let everyone know, we are doing great! Cory and I are both in school right now!! Cory is going to EMT school and I'm in hair school. Nothing too exciting has happened to us since the wedding except for Cory's fun trip to the ER in September. His arm is healing GREAT and fast! One thing I forgot was that I did make it to the final round of my schools hair show! It will be held at Murray High School at 7:00 pm. I think it is going to be a fun night for everyone not involved. I'm actually a little scared for this round just for the fact I have to interview with the educational director of the Sassoon academy!!
